Staff Selection Commission Corrigendum by Govt of India

Subject:- Lower Division Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2012 F.No.3/21/2012-P&P-I : Candidates may refer to the Notice published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar in its edition dated 14 January 2012. The following amendments are

SELECTION OF Candidates:- The Commission have the discretion to fix different qualifying standard in different papers. The names of the candidates who are considerably the Staff Selection Commission to be suitable for appointment on the results of the examination shall be arranged in a single list in order of merit and they shall be recommended for appointment in that order upto the number of appointments decided to be made.

Note: Selection to the Lower Division Grade of the service on the results of the examination shall be made to the extent of the available vacancies in order of merit subject to the reservations for candidates of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen and physically handicapped persons, in accordance with the orders issued from time to time by the Government in the Department of Personnel & Training in this' behalf.
Para 9 of the Notice:

The sentence "The final merit position will be determined by adding marks of paper-1, Paperll and ACRs" will stand amended as " The final merit position will be determined by adding marks of Paper-l and Paper-Il". Other contents of the Notice will remain unchanged.
