Vacancy in Indian Council of Medical Research for two Posts

Applications are invited upto 23rd August 2012 for the following two posts of Scientists 'C^s in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/- at the National Institute of Pathology, New Delhi. It is a permanent Research Institute of ICMR with thrust areas of Research on Tumour Biology, Infectious Diseases, Environment Toxicology etc.

(I)     Post No.1 Scientist 'C' (Path6logy)

Essential          Qualification Experience: (i) MEMS degree recognized by MCI from a recognized University.

(ii) Four years R&D experience in Pathology after obtaining essential qualification _(j) above.

Desirable Qualification: (i) MD1DNB in Pathology, from a recognized University for candidates with First Class relevant degree.

(ii) Additional Post doctoral research/ Teaching experience in Pathology in recognized institutes.

(ill) Knowledge of Computer Applications/Bioinformatics.

(II)            Post No.2 Scientist 'C' (Genetics/Molecular Biology) Essential          Qualification Experience: (1) MBBS Degree recognized by MCI from a recognized University. OR

1st Class Masters Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Genetics/Biologidal Sciences from a recognized,University. OR

Second Class Master's Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Genetics/Biological Sciences with Ph.D. degree from a recognized University in the above mentioned
