Vacancy in Ministry of Urban Development

One post of Controller of Publication in the Department of Publication under this Ministry will fall vacant from 01.03.2013. It is proposed to fill up the post on deputation (including short- term contract) basis. The post of Controller of Publication is a Group 'A post in the pre-revised scale of pay of Z 12000-375-16500 (Revised Scale Pay Band 3 Z 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Z 7600). The incumbent of the post is to work as Head of the Department directly under the control of this Ministry and inter-alia, would be responsible for managing the work of stocking, distribution and sale of all official publications. The Headquarters is at Civil Ones, Delhi-54.

2. Officers under Central / State Governments Union Territories / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous and Semi-autonomous Organizations fulfilling the following requirements are eligible to apply:-

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent Cadre or Department; or (ii) With 5 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of pay of Z 10000-15200 {Revised Scale Pay Band 3 Z 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Z 6600) or equivalent in the parent Cadre or Department; and

(b)            (I) Graduate Degree from recognized University or equivalent; and

{11) Possessing five years experience in the field of Publications.

3. Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organizations or Departments of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 4 years. The maximum age limit for appointmere by deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications. 3. The pay of the selected caqdidates will be regulated in accordancOwith the rules on the subject as emended from time to time.

Ii) Up-to-date CR/APAR in original or Photocopies attested by an officer not below the lever of Under Secretary to the Government of India.

(ii) integrity Certificate signed by an officer not below the level of Deputy Secretary to the

Government of India.

(iii)Vigilance clearance certificate.

(iv)Statement of major/minor penalties imposed on the applicant during the iast ten years.
